Directions to The Windermere

FROM CAPE TOWN:

As you enter Port Elizabeth on the N2 from the Cape Town side take the Cape Road off ramp. Continue all the way down Cape Road, past Greenacres hospital etc, at the Rink St intersection Cape Rd becomes Russell Rd. Continue down Russell Rd, cross Govan Mbeki Ave onto M4 highway (Direction Humewood/ Summerstrand). Continue along M4 past harbour (on your left), and past Kings Beach until you see McDonalds sign, turn right into La Roche Drive (immediately before McDonalds) and then 1st right again into Humewood Road. The Windermere Hotel is 35 Humewood Road (Cnr Humewood Rd & Sprayview Rd)

DIRECTIONS FROM THE AIRPORT:

The Windermere is an easy 4km from the airport:
Exiting the airport take a right turn onto the M11 (Allister Miller Drive) follow the HUMEWOOD / SUMMERSTRAND signs.
Continue on the M11 (Alistair Millar), which becomes La Roche Drive; continue down La Roche drive towards the sea until almost the end McDonalds and Holiday Inn clearly visible on the right hand side.
Turn left into Humewood Road ?The Windermere? is no. 35 Humewood Rd (corner Humewood Rd and Sprayview Rd)

FROM COLCHESTER(SIDE):

Enter Port Elizabeth on the N2, which becomes the Settlers Freeway (M4)
Take the Humewood/Summerstrand off ramp(M4) as indicated on the Signs on the road. Continue along the coast, past the harbour in the direction of Humewood/Summerstrand (M4). You will pass the Paxton Hotel on your right, then Kings Beach on the left start looking out for Mac Donald?s/Holiday Inn on your right hand side. At this Robot you will turn Right into La Roche Drive and then again right into Humewood Road. We are situated at number 35 Humewood Road, on the corner of Humewood Road and Sprayview Avenue.
