• We recycle glass and plastics.
• We use energy saving bulbs where possible, but the bright neon light they produce is not condusive to bedroom/living spaces, so we are limited there.
• Our rooms / bathrooms all have a notice about the on-going water shortage in Cape Town.
• We re-use all our cosmetic room / bathroom containers.
• We use environmentally friendly products in our garden.
• All clothes, discarded linen and towels go to Ons Plek women and children's Shelter.
• We support Uthando.
• We donate complimentary weekends to a number of fund raising Auctions throughout the year.
• We support Nazareth House, Air Mercy, St. Luke's Hospice, the Society for the Blind and Uthando.
• All our staff have obligatory pensions and medical aid plans.
